Bitterly cold

Yes, that is a human being huddled under that blanket. An elderly gentleman, I think, though it was difficult to ascertain given the beard, disheveled hair, and sunken eyes. I thought of making contact and exchanging even just a few words, but this time, I chickened out.
I hope he avails himself of a warm shelter tonite...

I normally stay away from taking pix of the downtrodden (cheap shots, voyeuristic, etc), but something pulled my trigger finger today.
