A Very Large Vacuum Cleaner

The heavy rains washed an enormous amount of sand onto the nearest cross street, blocking the gutters and impeding the flow of the runoff. There's been a racket of shovels and bulldozers, and today's closing act: this giant vacuum truck. You can see the nozzle beneath the turquoise spool--it sucked the rest of the sand right up into the huge holding tank. I love all the colors.
