To bee or not to bee

I found dozens of bees busy at work on this late flowering manuka, but they really made it clear that they only wanted to be photographed one at a time.  No matter how I tried I just couldn't seem to get more than one in the frame.

Had lunch at the Red Barn with a group of friends today,  had to say goodbye to Aragon69 who is off back to the cold and wet of England. 
Very sad.  Too short a trip this time, with too little of it spent in Murchison.
