Morning has broken

A bright morning with mist rising from the river, so I popped down the road for an early blip. This evening we went out to a double bill of North African films for the Maghreb, si proche, si loin film festival: a documentary about a group of young women living in a suburb of Paris and talking about their lives, and then Fatima, about a woman bringing up her two daughters. Interesting and thought provoking. Between the two films there was a rather scanty buffet due to there being more people there than the organisers expected -- we had to fill up on bread when we got home.
