Sit Down, You're Rockin' the Boat

An opportunity came up to see "Guys and Dolls" at the Savoy Theatre, and it was great fun – lovely to meet up with a friend and quite astonishing to be only two rows from the front. It was tricky to focus on any one dancer, but I loved being so close to the conductor and watch him get roped into one of the dance numbers. The whole production was marvellous, particularly Sophie Thompson, who played Miss Adelaide. Thanks, C and L, for the ticket.

The cormorant was snapped on my way back from the Twinings tea shop via the Embankment and Temple. It was a lunchtime for sunbathing.
