Starry Cracks Again

7.6C with a dull morning and a bright afternoon. Wind to 32 mph with gusts to 48 mph. Wind moderating in the late afternoon. A storm is due through the night and tomorrow morning with very high winds.

This morning I started a big clear out and took some things to the local dump. Since there were things on the back seat of the car Maeve the Deerhound waited at home.

Maeve and I went for a walk after lunch. Runrig on the Nano (Everything You See and In Search of Angels). We went up to the church then continued out along the country road to Scryne. We turned right at Craigmill farm and went down the track to the shore road. The track wasn't too muddy. Out on the horizon I could see the cargo ship Havfrakt.

We walked along the cycle path to Westhaven directly into the wind then went over the road bridge over the railway to Westhaven beach. The tide was coming in. We made a quick visit to the upturned dinghies just along from the car park to get a few close shots for Abstract Thursday. I worked with the starry cracks again. Colour features strongly in today's result.

We came crossed back over the road bridge and carried on round in a loop heading into Carnoustie and up the main road before turning along for home.
