Thank you to all the people who left stars and hearts on my poppy from a couple of days ago - it's been on the front page of popular for ages, which is lovely.

A juvenile paradise shelduck having a good flap!

You can see on the head the white starting to appear. Paradise ducks fledge into male feathers, and later the females change to female feathering, with the white head and chestnut body.

Is anyone else tired of grey skies? The sun came out today for a short time and it was so nice, we haven't seen it for days.
