Sunrise

Sunrise this morning was fabulous.

Today we headed to Hondón de los Frailes. Had a very effective day. Saw 6 houses. 2 of which we had not chosen. 1 chosen to see had been sold. Most of the houses were someones summer house. 2 where brand new but had been empty for years.

Oddities of today
- hen house with a ganso
- get a small tractor with the house deal
- see all kinds of rubble and sh*t next to the houses. Would need a bulldozer to clear the yards

Some of the summer cottages were taken care of with love. Some were junk yards.

We met a lovely man Manuel whose summer house was clearly the best. He was very sweet. Spoke only Spanish, but we got along just fine. Of course we have the agent with us all the time. Anyway when Manuel (who had 4000m2 of almond trees) heard that I had never seen how almonds look like when they harvested from the trees, he went to get a big sack, and showed us. He cracked open couple with his teeth and let us get a taste. And not only that he packed a kilo of almonds to go with us. What a sweetheart! Most of the people here are just the nicest!

After all the house visits we took a d-tour back through Baños de Fortuna where famous thermal springs are situated. We walked a while there with the dogs and headed back to the costa. After we'd had something to eat we took the dogs to the beach and let them run free for a while. And that walk ended to a shampoo wash of two dogs. Nelson was vale con aqua.
