The Sun Came Out

After a grey dull start we soon saw the sun in this part of England.  I'd been checking out alternative locations to photograph the trees at Shenstone, when I noticed this tree.  It wasn't quite what I was looking for, but I still decided to jump out of the car and take a look.  I was fortunate that the clouds were still banked up to the northwest, providing a reasonable back drop for the view.

That completed it was off to see Mom, and then back home for a bit of cooking.  I batch cook chilli for the freezer, but I couldn't resist a bowl full for lunch.
