Horrid Henry

We thought we'd take a walk for a bit of fresh air this afternoon. We actually got quite a lot of fresh air with storm Henry blowing! There was a road closed between Hayle and Gwithian. I missed the sign for the diversion and so we had quite a long round the coast excursion before we got there. It didn't matter much because the rain started as soon as we left but by the time we got there the rain had blown away and the sun was trying to break through.

We parked at the National Trust car park at Godrevy and walked up the path above the cliffs. The tide was fairly low but with a big swell, the waves were still crashing over the rocks out on the island.

We didn't stay out too long and headed back to the car park and the cafe for a hot chocolate. Lovely!
