Pottery Abstract

This is a close up of a part of a pot being made for a special exhibition opening in the summer at Waddesdon Manor.  The 'potter' is Kate Malone (she was a judge in the Great British Throwdown')  I have had the privilege today of going to her studio in London to photograph some of the pots in their early stages. The details are incredible and they will be truly amazing when glazed and finished.  Waddesdon wanted some photographs of the 'making' so that the visitors to the exhibition will be able to see visually how these were created and the work that has gone into them.  Kate is a delight to work with and I had a fun, although, tiring day.

Now a dash out to choir where we start work on the Tallis Spem in Alium 40 part motet - fiendishly difficult!
