Happy Waitangi Day people. And there is no reason why you can't or shouldn't celebrate New Zealand today.

What others say or do should have no bearing on what you choose to do. Sadly our media obsesses with the bad stuff and ignores the thousands attending events, including those at Waitangi, maraes etc around the country.

Feel good about our young nation. It is young, has growing pains, and has lots to excited about and grateful for. We aren't perfect by any stretch of the imagination but we can still celebrate :-)

Sadly I can't celebrate my new ISP because they have completely failed to do my internet connection today. This is the third failure :-(

On a happier note I'm going fishing tomorrow.
