Mono Monday: "Pure Transition"

MrsLinda (many thanks to her!) has set a fascinating but tricky challenge for Mono-Monday this week.

These vegetables are being steamed. This will make them pure in that it will kill any bugs on them, as they make the transition from the raw state to the cooked state.

(Confession: If you think the steam doesn't look quite right, it isn't! I tried hard,  but I couldn't get the steam to show up on the photo. So this is actually smoke, photoshopped on...it's the best I could do!)
