Tiny Tuesday Ammonite

As a Christmas present for Mrs C's 5-year-old nephew, we put together a collection of specimen stones etc, along with a photo collage showing each one (see here).

Well, his 8-year-old sister was so taken with them that she wants a similar set for her forthcoming birthday. So once more I have the pleasant task of photographing them.

This little ammonite fossil is one of them; its largest measurement is only about 2cm. Of course, it seems an excellent subject for today's Tiny Tuesday blip.
