Unique

No other crocus matches the shade of blue that typifies Crocus baytopiorum.  A mountain plant from Turkey, with a limited distribution in the wild, this is not the easiest to grow, I just manage to keep it going.

Up at 715 this morning to greet workmen come to  do the rectification work on the summer house.  They'd been driving since 3am .... the job took 5 minutes!  At least they have three other jobs in the area before heading home.  Mind you they'll be back, they were not given the correct beading for the second part of the job here :-(
