"Ah, I see it is your thirteenth donation today, that's great, thank you."

"Oh no, I didn't know it was thirteen. I wish you hadn't told me that as I'm really superstitious."

...And she was right to worry because she failed the iron test and couldn't donate today!! In fact her iron level was so low that she can't donate for twelve months...so for that donor I have used thirteen needle caps to make the skirt.
