Peach Blossom

I blipped the miniature peach in full bloom outside my front door on 28th March last year, which means this year its 6 weeks earlier. Despite the frosty start this morning I was pleased to see some bees around by lunchtime but I think I'll pollinate this myself with a cotton bud just to be sure.  

This blip may be a marmite thing? Its not conventional to give pink flowers a red background, but our front door is red and I find the result surprisingly striking. You are not obliged to agree!

I had a swim and a physio appointment today. My back's recovery is tiresomely slow, but I'm keeping myself busy.
