Porpoise?

Had a much, much better sleep last night - but we both felt pretty tired after our big walk yesterday, so we had a reasonably relaxed day.  Took a little drive over to St Bees in the late morning, and had a wee wander along the beach.  Came across this poor dead thing, which I assume is some kind of porpoise.  It was very dolphin-like, but also relatively small.

Drove back to Keswick, parked up and went to a lovely café - Merienda - for lunch.  Then back to the cottage for a bit of a tidy up.  Tim popped back out to check the tyres, etc, on the car, and also to take our recycling to the local recycling bank, while I cleaned the kitchen and packed a few bits and pieces.  After a bit of a rest, we went back out in the car to Castlerigg stone circle for a few photos (see the extra), and to drink in a last view of the mountains before we head home tomorrow.

Came back to the cottage, watched a bit of TV, and then went back out for dinner - Thai again, at Star of Siam.  Delicious!
