Detail Of A Renaissance Sky

Friday and it was a very long one.  3 and a half hours in meetings as well. 

2 hours of them with our new department manager.

I'm not a big fan of meetings like that, because the tradition here is for him to tell us a bit about himself and then for us individually to tell him about us.

I don't like this because it's immediately obvious that I'm not German and in comparison nowhere near as eloquent as my colleagues.  I find that embarassing.

However I made everyone laugh and he said I'm not getting paid enough. 

I look forward to my enormous pay rise....

This was a bit of the sky just before I left the office at 5:45.

Met G in town for blethers and enjoyed the fact that the working week was over.

Oh and it's cold.  Really cold here.

Oh and you got light in your eyes.
