Bowing to the sun

Woke this morning at what turned out to be just before the sun rose from behind the Scandrett Regional Park peninsula (southeast of Algies Bay). Seeing the colours I picked up the Nikon and went out to the edge of the section, and got the photo which I have put in as the extra for today.

Then I had my first vigorous walk since November. My leg bore up well, although I did avoid one hill; to lessen the going down rather than the going up. Fortunately, there was a way around it.

Bought the Saturday Herald, so that I get a couple of cryptic crosswords for the weekend. For when I'm not reading agenda papers for Council on Tuesday and Wednesday.
