God's Hands

        'Adam, where are you?'
                        God's hands
palpate darkness...

...

 Fragmented Adam stares.
                       God's hands
unseen, the whirling rides
dazzle, the lights blind him. Fragmented,
he is not present to himself. God
suffers the void that is his absence.

- Denise Levertov

Another reminder today to be grateful for this enforced silence and solitude; to be present to myself, for a start.

But!!! my heart is singing because looks like my kids and maybe even my grandson, might be able to visit soon...

And, today, spent most of day in Évora for a book launch, which was surprisingly stimulating - an extra of the event - am now the proud owner of two autographed Portuguese books which look good reading. Went afterwards to celebrate how well our friend (furthest right) here did in his part.
