A trip to Germany

Went down to visit a mate, Jim L, in Bedfordshire. He was on shift at the North Weald Air Ambulance, so instead of having me hanging around with him all day, he foisted me off on his mate Simon who was off to Essen in Germany in his Cirrus SR-22. What a bind.

I had to sit in this glorious aircraft with its stunning avionics and awesome autopilot while we had a completely uneventful and splendid trip over the Netherlands and into Germany.
