River of Flowers

Moelfre Bay, Anglesey

Quick trip to the beach this afternoon, further down the coast to Moelfre Bay.

I walked along the coastal path away from the main beach at Moelfre where there were a group of vans and men repairing drains so I quickly moved on! The path goes past the Lifeboat Station and through a narrow part with hebes and mallows on both sides. The flowers were alive with bumble bees and other insects busy in the sunshine.

The island is Moelfre Island (Ynys Moelfre) which was busy with all sorts of sea birds this afternoon, they could be heard from the shore.
