Clever deer!

As I walked along the trail, I paused to scatter a handful of bark butter bits on top of this tree stump. Then, just past this tree, I stopped to chat with a man I met, and we watched as this doe, wandering down the trail, discovered the little treasure. I have concluded that deer have very sensitive noses!

An aside: The man I mentioned will be one of my Fabulous Friday Faces this week. Watch for it (On Friday of course)!
