The Devil Take the Horses!

This was what the Parson was alleged to have said from frustration  in the legend of the Parson and the Clerk. Their guide, who may have been the devil said,. "I believe I will" and the horses with the parson and clerk on their backs leapt over the cliff to be turned to stone and washed by the sea for ever more.
This was taken from the coast path to the west of Dawlish. The clerk is the one on the right and in another unfortunate act he lost his head in storms in 2003.

Thanks for your comments about the Commitments rehearsal last night. It all went very well and the new drummer proved an excellent addition to the lineup. Having delegated several of the tasks added to my enjoyment of the evening too.
