PATH ALONG THE WESER

The forecast had been worse. Heavy rain and / or snow.
It rained, but not heavy, and in the afternoon we set out for a short walk.
When we came outside, the weather was much better than seen from inside. That happens quite a lot of times. It did not rain and we walked further than we had intended.
The picture shows a moment where we come (and often do) out of the forest and follow the path along the Weser. The river is at the right side of the path.
This night I had a bad dream obviously and awoke in panic. After half an hour, and with Piet Hein's warm comfort I could fall in sleep again,
In the morning Piet Hein read from a book written by O.Fr. Bollnow, titled Neue Geborgenheit. (translation: new protection) (1955) and I enjoyed that very much.
Still I felt a bit tired all day and will catch up tomorrow again.

My haiku:

Huge trees give safety
But can suddenly be a
Danger small or great

And the proverb:

No coming to heaven with dry eyes.
