Heckington mill

we made a diversion on the way home having spotted a nearby windmill on the map. Well worth a trip as the mill itself has been restored and is working.  Its the only eight sail windmill left in England. They are currently restoring some of the surrounding buildings, hence I've photographed it against just the sky as the surroundings were a bit messy! The look around inside was interesting and you can see for miles from the top, however photography through the windows was a little difficult (see extra). The village also has a quaint old signal box and apparently the largest village fete in England.
