snowdrops

a friend at camera club told me how lovely the snowdrops were at Myddleton House at the weekend so went along this afternoon to have a look. Grabbed the SLR but with the wrong lens so this was taken with the compact which can focus very close but its very difficult to focus on the right thing. Amongst all the blurred snowdrops with well focussed trees behind I had a few in focus snowdrops! Had a lot of more conventional shots but I liked the view looking up the snowdrop from ground level. The compact also has the advantage of a flash which I've used at the lowest level for this.
