Market Place

Another laughter filled Tuesday at the Sidmouth Club proving you can live well and have dementia.

After toast and coffee, we read the horoscopes and then the Chairman of the K&A Canal Trust gave us a talk about the Murrray River in Australia. That river is wide, still and very long and the photographs, videos and music accompanying his talk sent a few members into a slumber!

Coffee, scrabble, cards, painting and biscuits followed and then lunch cooked by Nicola. Fish Pie and Peach and Apple crumble. It was so good, I would happily have paid money for it!

In the afternoon, we sang songs, played quoits, had a quiz and enjoyed tea and cake.

It has been a lovely day and I walked home in the sunshine. (Pass the Market Cross.)
