DS in Docklands

What a view! This is the fabulous sight of the O2 venue in London's Docklands, seen from the new hotel alongside where we are berthed tonight with DS ahead of the French car company's launch drive of the new DS3 hatchback and cabriolet tomorrow.

Remarkably, the previous DS3 went down so well here that it sold better in the UK than in its native France. So we Brits are test driving it ahead of our counterparts in the French press. Not sure what it will do for entente cordiale, but we're all pretty happy about it here in London.

Interestingly, DS has appointed a new 'style ambassador' for the brand. She's chic, colourful, feisty and fabulous. Her name is Iris Apfel, she's an American fashion icon - and she's 94! What a triumph for anti-ageism. Very avant garde. Bravo DS!
