Holburn West Church

I had to go to the chemist to pick up a prescription. Walking there I took a slight detour to cross the road to get a view of this church. It was built in in 1894 and refurbished in 2004. I might have guessed it was a little newer, like the Queen's Cross Church I find the architecture a little heavy.

A few years ago I attended a quiz night in the Church Hall here, and failed dismally to get many of the questions right. I had bought pizza for the people on my table and made the mistake of putting oil on the pizze when I collected them. The take away pizza cartons do not retain olive oil very well, and I had oil all over my trousers. Happily olive oil washes out, at least it did on that occasion.
