Albert Terrace

When I took this photograph I knew I would do something to it in processing. I thought maybe convert it to a sketch, give it a vintage look, convert the buildings to black and white. In the end after lots of experimenting I have left it alone, more or less.

Something seems to have happened to the lamp post. Maybe it was hit by the tree in one of the storms we had in the last couple of months.

A walk today found me heading towards the city. It had been quite sunny, though very cold, by the time of the photograph it was clouding over, though some patches of blue sky remained. After a brief look in one of the shops in Union Square I returned to base.
