Nest Building

Our resident bald eagles are finally building a new nest; we are so excited that the nest is being build in a tree where we will be able to observe the activity at the nest. I saw a mating and lots of sticks being carried to the nest. The Blip photo was a branch that didn't break off easily, so he simply gave up on it. I was fascinated at how easily the birds swooped in and broke off most of the branches they took back to their nest. The extras show a couple branches being carried back to the nest. Not the best photos but you will get the idea of what we saw today. Very exciting watching the process.
