Bergamo

Left Milan, still raining gently to itself, and took the train to Bergamo. Lovely place, set on two levels, the upper of which was of course the posh bit and also of course where we headed for. Mostly closed on Mondays it made for a quiet wander around the steep cobbled lanes and the church at the top has to hold the award for the most bling I've seen in a long time. Again, today it's the iPhone offering with the possibility of more pictures on Flickr when we get home, but the view toward the Alps was pretty good...
