Waiting for the bus

Sometimes when there is plenty of time there is suddenly no time left. Accordingly having had plenty of time to get ready to go out I suddenly found I was running late. I had booked a couple of tickets for a lunch time play (the tickets are combined with a pie and a pint). Instead of a leisurely walk to the theatre I decided to get the bus. Not that this is always much quicker if a bus fails to arrive.

After the heavy snow fall yesterday today there is no sign of snow, well very little. The heavy clouds have been replaced with blue skies. There are two churches on the Queen's Cross roundabout. It seems a little excessive to have two churches so close together, even though they do serve different parishes.

Arriving at the Lemon Tree at the time I thought the doors would open, we found that we were almost the last to arrive. There are no assigned seats for these lunch time performances so we had seats where the view was partially obscured by pillars. The play was acceptable, and the pie was very nice, the pint is always welcome.
