The Way of Colour

19C and blue sky between the showers.

The day started brighter and Maeve the Deerhound and I had a bonus walk along the beach near the railway station this morning, after we had been to get our Saturday fresh croissant. Maeve gets a corner of croissant. Just enough for a treat.

The blip, of some fishing net and the tattered remains of some rope caught in the grass of the dunes, just presented itself as we walked through the dunes and back to the cycle path and along to the car. We found a few pieces of Sea Glass too.

I made a point of listening to all of the Janice Forsyth show on Radio Scotland this morning (excellent as usual) as it was the last show. The absolute numpties powers at be at Radio Scotland have decided that we need more sport on the radio at the expense of good music and intelligent and interesting interviews with top quality guests. No more radio Scotland on Saturday mornings for me!

Around lunchtime we had a series of sharp showers. Maeve had to wait a while, but we have had our usual walk and I have posted some more scenic type shots on the overflow blog since it was sunny and there were some shadows for pleasant change. We got round our walk in the dry. There has been another shower between us getting home and now. I think a pink iced Empire biscuit is called for :-)
