Four Poster

We visited Lacock Abbey today.  The main reason for going was to see the exhibition of photographs by Tim Rudman called "Iceland, an Uneasy Calm".  This was a selection of lovely, moody black and white images. They were taken on medium format film and beautifully printed on Multigrade warm-toned fibre based paper, toned with selenium and thiourea.  Outstanding quality prints and gorgeous images, all superbly presented in a simple, clean layout, some prints framed behind glass, the rest mounted and arranged in a row inside glass cabinets. It worked very well.

Of course, we also took the opportunity to walk round the grounds of the abbey (I don't think we had that opportunity on our last visit because of poor weather) and to visit the cloisters and rooms inside the building.  All very enjoyable.

I wasn't allowed to take a rest on the bed.
