Look Up (The Farm Track)

8.4C with a hint of haar. Sunny spells in the afternoon. Light Easterly breeze.

Maeve and I went for a walk after lunch. Runrig on the Nano (The Big Wheel and Searchlight). We went up to the church then continued out along the country road to Scryne. We turned right at Craigmill farm and went down the track to the shore road. The farmer was in the field on the other side of the country road in his tractor today. The track was very dry and the farmer has been filling in the potholes with stones so it was easier to walk today. For Mono Monday on the theme of 'Look Up' I simply turned round to look up the track as we walked down towards the shore road.

We walked along the cycle path to Westhaven and carried on round in a loop heading into Carnoustie and up the main road before turning along for home.

This afternoon I took three boxes of stuff from the garage to the recycle centre. Then I emptied three big bags of what were originally turfs from a border we widened onto one of the veg beds. I had put the turfs in thick black bags two or three years ago to kill of the grass, and when I tipped them out today it was just like compost. The garage is not far off being cleared of the things we no longer want or need. Mostly just all the empty plant pots to sort through.
