An ordinary life....

Gin Pin...

Backblip

David was in seventh heaven at lunchtime as he headed to the golf club for lunch with Kenny before the pair of them had their first round of golf of 2016.   Sadly his mood wasn't quite so buoyant when he returned but the less said about that, the better!  :-))

While they were gone, Ele, Gail, Natalie and Diane arrived for lunch.  Although we've seen each other separately, it was before Christmas since we'd all been together so lots of catch up on.

Diane has just completed her chemo and radiotherapy course for breast cancer and it was wonderful to see her looking so well.  She has been an absolute star through the whole thing, a real inspiration and although I know she's had her moments, her love of life and her family and her sense of humour have helped her through.

On arrival she handed me a little gift bag and smiling said, "I saw this and thought of you."   Inside was a box of Cocktail sweets (gin and tonic flavour) and this gorgeous little Gin Pin.  I was so touched and love it!  But once again my reputation precedes me! :-)))

After lunch we retired to the comfy seats to have coffee and toffee fudge and Belgian Chocolate hot cross buns.  OMG!  They are to die for!   Lots more chat before ladies headed home around 5.30pm.

They're all hoping that the Gin Palace will be open for their next visit.
