Queen's View, Loch Tummel

Glorious sunny day today and warm enough to leave my jacket in the car when we visited Loch Tummel and had a picnic lunch overlooking Queen's View.  It doesn't get much better than that:-)

Well, actually, it did, as we carried on past Tummel Bridge, through Dull (see Extras) and stopped for coffee and a cake at Aberfeldy.  I did ask if the "cake" was intended for one person or two and was assured it was only for one.  (See Extras)  This one just couldn't eat it all (though I have to admit the other one did!), so I carried the rest home in a doggy bag.  Hope he doesn't think I'm going to share it:-)

Just about to start a new 6 week MOOC in Genealogy this evening, so hope it's enjoyable.
