Learning fast

Second Chidokan Karate lesson for the boys this evening. The age difference is clear with Mr H much more able to adjust what he was doing from verbal instruction than is Young L. Late in the hour, Kancho was joined by another Sensei, who just happened to be a teacher who adjusts positions with a bit of touch. Young L suddenly got some of the moves which until then had been a bit of a struggle.

In this photo, he is practising parrying Mr H and is about to punch his right arm forward to just stop short of the body. Watching closely is Kancho (the head teacher). Again they enjoyed their lesson.
