Day is dying in the west

The grey clouds disappeared after lunch and we enjoyed a beautiful sunny afternoon although it was still rather chilly.

This afternoon L and I took a trip out to the West End to meet up with our younger niece and catch up with her news while enjoying liquid refreshment and cake - L had coffee, I had tea and H had hot chocolate. Good to meet up with the younger generation.
