Stepping on the gas

Another day of farewells to some of my ex-colleages in Environmental Health. 

Angela, Gill and Dinah had a party at The Gas Club to celebrate their "escape" from the  department. Between them they have clocked up over 50 years of service.

It was good to catch up with dozens of old friends and colleagues over a few gins and tonics. How people's lives have changed  - some for the better, others for worse. It really is a funny old world.

The band was Ramshank - a Huddersfield-based outfit playing stuff by the Ramones, Smiths, Buzzcocks, Specials and other punk, new wave and ska. My friend Enzo (Pictured) was on drums playing in his usual warp speed style.
