Home!

We’ve had a very stressful lovely time in Edinburgh but now we’re home.  Yay!

As soon as we arrived I went down to the beach for a play.  Today is the last day that doggies can go on the beach before the summer doggie beach ban.  Booohooo!

And now we’ve got to plan the rest of our life………………. Or at least the next few months.  The big Edinburgh flat refurbishment is not going to happen by itself!

For anyone who hasn’t read about all our trials & tribulations over the last couple of weeks click back through our journal now.  We honesty did think that with the technological communication of today’s society that we could employ one company/project manager to refurbish a flat more than 600 miles away and just let them get on with it??!!  The saying, ‘you live and learn’, springs to mind!

The problem is; the Edinburgh flat is our main source of income and if it’s empty while we’re refurbing it, we’re not getting any income.  Our second source of income is Ann’s job …………….which she’s just resigned from (so that she can concentrate on project managing the big Edinburgh flat refurbishment because she doesn’t trust the trades people to just get on with it).  Apparently I’m going to have to cut back on my treats.  And Ann’s going to have to cut back on her wine!

For the next few months we are going to be back & forth between Cornwall & Edinburgh.  BUT we must remain positive and not rant!
And..............  Ann says that we will have loads of time over the summer to meet up with lots of you lovely Edinburgh Blippers?!

By the end of the summer I will be the most lucky little collie dog in the whole of the UK.  I will have a lovely home in one of the most beautiful seaside towns in Cornwall.  And I will have a totally refurbished flat in Scotland’s capital city.

Onwards and upwards!  Seize the moment!  Life is not a dress rehearsal!
