Keeping Us Company

It was another beautiful Spring day today, so we headed down to the lake for a sunset walk. The path around this lake gets particularly muddy so we've avoided it all winter and it was good to be back.

After being disappointed yesterday at no picnic, (see yesterday's blip), I decided to at least bring a flask of hot chocolate. It was still probably a bit chilly and too late in the day for a picnic - poor Dolly - I think she was too cold to relax (see Extra photo). But we enjoyed the fresh air and the sunset, especially when this swan appeared to keep us company!
