More Tug-of-War

After the really cold day of Saturday, Sunday was completely the opposite - sunny and warm.  

I spent the day with a friend of mine visiting from the US.  Paige is also a Flight Attendant and we used to fly together when she was based in London.  Ten years ago she and her husband moved to Chicago, but she had to stay a few more months, waiting for her transfer  to go through.  She stayed with me for those months and she and Dolly bonded quite a bit.    Although we've had visits from time to time, when Paige turned up today, Dolly was delighted and wouldn't leave her side.    

After a Sunday pub lunch we enjoyed a couple of hours enjoying the afternoon sun.  What a treat after the cold day the day before!  A sunset walk and a late chocolate pudding and custard finished off the day.
