The unlikely concatenation of circumstances that we were optimistically hoping for manifested itself, when bottom club Cowdenbeath beat our nearest rivals. Add to that a spectacular hat-trick by our cult hero Faissal el Bakhtoui (Number 10, being congratulated by wily old head Michael Moffat) and the Mighty Pars have won the league with 5 games to spare!
Followed by a fine evening out to celebrate Shandonner's advancing age, it was one of the best Saturdays I can remember for a long time :D
