Tachybaptus ruficolis

Today was too beautiful and sunny to do anything but grab the cameras and go out to the countryside.
Out at the Bavelaw reservoir there were teal, tufties, wigeon, blackcaps, skylarks etc etc.
We loved seeing the wee Little Grebes, who were whinnying at each other. Such a huge noise from such a tiny bird.
Lots of randy frogs just in front of the hides; more raucous noise from them :)
