The pond

A photo right out of the camera— I just loved the palette of green and browns on this sort of nasty Easter Sunday that was full of wind, rain and periodically a sun break. We managed a walk between showers to the other end of the island where this pond is  (less than 2 miles) -there were mallards and hooded mergansers but my lens couldn’t really get them (You can just see the reddish feet of a mallard way in the back) and I liked the bigger scene anyway.    (Had more hours of fun in the studio with photo/computer projects not yet blippable…)
