Island times....

We were pleasantly surprised today when it didn't rain (much!)   H and D had a wee deconstruction project, (we're grateful to have some friends who can still cheerfully do some work !:-)) we all had a lovely walk, (R with her new knee)  R and I (friends since 1974) scoured the beach for the perfect piece of driftwood for her Santa (this wasn't it)  and we sat on the deck for R's wonderful anchovy crostini hors d'oeuvres (a few raindrops finally sent us inside for salmon chowder.). A fine day.
